As Registered, Licensed Dietitian Nutritionists, we believe balance is the key. We are committed to teaching our clients about making healthy choices, and celebrating their victories no matter the size of the goal.  It’s a dream come true for us to be able to live out my passions with a job that allows us to educate people of all ages about the power of nutrition and fitness, changing their habits and lifestyle, and creating a new norm for themselves and their families.  

 

We specialize in ‘lifestyle’ nutrition, diabetes management, weight management, bariatric nutrition, sports nutrition, and eating disorders.  Whether you are trying to achieve healthy weight loss, manage your blood sugars, reduce body fat, build lean muscle, fuel your performance, or create a healthy relationship with food, we believe incorporating nutrition into real-world eating is key. You won’t find any gimmicks or ‘one-size-fits-all’ diets. We believe in tailoring your needs to your personal goals.

Michelle Konstantarakis Jensen

Michelle Konstantarakis Jensen MS RDN LD CDE received her first undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Having struggled with weight herself growing up, she found a passion for nutrition and fitness during college. Realizing the power of eating the right foods and physical activity, she went back for her Nutrition degree in pursuit of becoming a dietitian and completed her Masters in Exercise Physiology. 

 

Michelle is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and Insulin Pump Trainer. An expert in the field of Diabetes she provides counseling to people with Type 1, and Type 2, as well as developing diabetes prevention plans. She works with  adult and children in the management of their diabetes, using the latest technology to help them achieve optimal blood glucose control.

 

Michelle believes nutrition and fitness are equally important and strives to help individuals create healthy habits enabling them to live their healthiest lives and/or perform at their optimal level. Michelle also taught nutrition courses at UNLV, which allowed her to provide not only nutrition education, but also guidance and mentorship to students, which was vital to her own success.


Although Michelle wasn’t always a total nutrition or fitness nerd, she is a certified barre instructor, and loves to mix it up with weight lifiting, pilates, and TRX.  She loves traveling, trying new restaurants and being with her family and friends who make her smile and laugh… Oh, and ice cream and wine… they too bring a smile to her face!

Leslie Kirkegard

Leslie Kirkegard, RDN, LD is a registered and licensed dietitian with an undergraduate degree in Nutrition Sciences from University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).

After graduating, Leslie began doing nutritional counseling for state run group homes. These homes allowed her to see a wide range of clients including children, clients with mental and physical disabilities, and clients with a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Leslie loves helping her clients dissect nutrition and make it into something understandable, relatable and sustainable. She is a mom of two  and has a passion for working with pre and post natal clients, lactation and children/adolescence. She is able to help clients with picky eating, food allergies, children that struggle with weight gain and those that have behavioral issues related to food.

Natalie Parasugo

Natalie Parasugo, RD, LD, was born and raised in Las Vegas and earned her Bachelors in Nutrition Sciences at UNLV, where she also completed her dietetic internship. She has worked for companies such as United Healthcare, WIC, Early Head Start, and as a health coach for employees of various MGM properties. Natalie found a love for working with children at WIC and Early Head Start and enjoys helping them find fun ways of being active and enjoying eating healthy foods. She also enjoys working with and helping those with a wide variety of medical nutrition therapies, such as diabetes, weight management, bariatric patients; and teaching patients how to make a healthy lifestyle accessible and manageable. She believes you don’t have to have a perfect diet to be healthy and nutrition doesn’t have to be boring!

Natalie found her passion for food, nutrition, and fitness when she was very young-often learning new recipes from cooking shows and attempting to make healthier versions of those recipes at home. And after finding a love for dance in high school, learning and understanding nutrition was an important part of staying healthy while having an active lifestyle. She currently enjoys fitness classes such as yoga and barefoot bootcamp and is a certified yoga instructor!

Natalie is a mom to two young boys who are full of energy and keep her on her toes! She loves spending time with them and finding new adventures to take them on, swimming, hiking, reading, and occasionally indulging in a reality show (or two…).

Chelsea VanOrnum

Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist

 

Chelsea VanOrnum, RD, LD had a natural interest in wellness and health from an early age. She easily prioritized physical activity but lacked a foundation of nutrition knowledge. It was not until college that she came to appreciate the restorative power of food. Chelsea earned a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University and completed her dietetic internship through the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

 

Chelsea began her dietetics career in the acute-care setting. Being in the hospital full-time introduced her to a wide variety of nutrition-related complications and invigorated her passion for educating patients with diabetes, heart & kidney disease, oncology, and various gastrointestinal disorders. Chelsea’s objective is to empower others through education, goal setting, and prioritizing their quality of life.

 

Chelsea is an avid reader, loves being outdoors, and appreciates the balance of walking, yoga, and strength training. Sadly, cooking doesn’t come natural to Chelsea, but food is her first love. Mexican and Italian are her favorite cuisines, but she’s not picky!

Jennifer Galasso

Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist

 

Jennifer Galasso, RDN, LD is a registered and licensed dietitian who earned a Bachelor in Nutrition Sciences from University of Nevada Las Vegas. She was born and raised in California, where she earned a Bachelor in Kinesiology.


Jennifer has always had a passion for exercise and nutrition. After moving to Las Vegas, she started out as a personal trainer, and then pursued a career in dietetics. Jennifer passion is to help educate people on how to live a healthier lifestyle through exercise and nutrition, and believes small changes can have a huge impact on one’s health. Jennifer has experience in a long-term care setting where she worked closely with the geriatric population, patients with dementia, and a variety of other medical conditions. Currently, she also works as a Renal Dietitian at a dialysis center.


Jennifer loves to be active. She enjoys weight lifting, running, spin class, hiking, Pilates, and being outdoors. Jennifer enjoys baking, and spending time with her fiancé and family.

Jamie Kelvington

Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist

Jamie Kelvington is a registered dietitian, licensed in the state of Nevada. She graduated magna cum laude from University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Nutrition Science, with a sports nutrition concentration.

Jamie has over 15 years of professional experience, with nearly half of her career spent providing one-on-one nutrition therapy and counseling to patients and clients. Jamie enjoys helping individuals build better relationships with food and giving them knowledge to take control of their own nutrition and health. She takes a very individual and personal approach while helping clients reach their goals. She also has a strong background in clinical nutrition, as well as being involved in community and corporate nutrition and wellness programs. She has experience working with a variety of clients, including diabetes, kidney disease, malnutrition, weight management, and performance nutrition.

Jamie is originally from Northern Nevada, where she grew up on a farm. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. Her hobbies include hiking, playing tennis, and cooking.

Nicole Beck, RDN, LD grew up in the beautiful, green mountains in Wyoming.  She attended the University of Wyoming where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, with an emphasis in dietetics. After moving to Las Vegas and becoming a mother she completed her dietetic internship through the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).  She has spent the majority of her career in the acute care setting providing medical nutrition therapy and education to a variety of patients including intensive care, oncology, cardiac, renal, and diabetic.  She has also worked with prenatal women and children in a WIC clinic, as well as serving as a corporate health coach manager for the employees at Bellagio. In that role she loved helping people through the process of setting health goals and making lifestyle changes to facilitate reaching those goals. She believes small, attainable goals that build upon themselves are the key to success.  Equally important is having someone that you are both accountable to and can champion your success in reaching those goals.  She enjoys assisting with weight loss, diabetes, cardiac health, oncology, and establishing healthy family nutrition habits.

As a widowed mom to three that now span the ages from elementary school to college, Nicole understands the challenges that accompany promoting healthy nutrition habits at home while juggling multiple responsibilities. 

 

Nicole has continued the passion for outdoor activities she established in her youth.  Her favorite places are the top of a mountain or the bottom of the ocean. She loves hiking, cycling, running, pilates, and strength training, and believes finding physical activities you enjoy is a key component to overall health. She also fills her calendar with as many concerts and travel plans as possible, and always appreciates a good restaurant or book recommendation.
